I have been a worker all of my life. My law firm, Franklin Law, has been shaped by this simple truth from its earliest beginnings. I understand workers' experiences and the injustices they face in the workplace and am committed to working with and if need be, fighting alongside workers – only workers – wherever and whenever their rights have been or stand to be violated.

I practice in the areas of employment law, human rights law, workers' compensation law and occupational health and safety law as well as civil litigation and labour law. I also develop and deliver training courses and provide clients with support in policy and program development.

Because many of my clients are engaged in precarious employment and from historically marginalized communities, I ensure that my services are accessible, cost-effective, creative and attuned to the needs of my diverse client base. I consider a variety of legal and non-legal strategies and work collaboratively with my clients to figure out which course of action is best suited to their unique needs and goals.

I also participate in broader community-based law reform initiatives and work with other organizations that support workers.
